Privacy Policy

The short version

InnovaMed is a reference tool for medication–condition relationships. It is designed so that patient information never reaches our servers.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a salted, hashed password if you create an account. We never store your password in readable form.
• Billing: payments are processed entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers. We store only your Stripe customer reference and subscription status.
• Search terms: the medication and condition names you search are sent to our server to return results. Do not include patient names or identifiers in searches — the tool never needs them.
• Usage counts: we count daily lookups per device/account to operate the free tier.
• Feedback: anything you submit through the feedback button, including an email address if you choose to provide one.

What never leaves your device

• Images. Screenshots you paste or select for text recognition are processed entirely in your browser. The image is never uploaded, transmitted, or saved.
• Your settings and recent charts are stored locally in your browser.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, store, or process protected health information (PHI).
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. Cookies are used only for your sign-in session and free-tier metering.

The browser extension

The InnovaMed extension sends only the text you search or highlight to med.innovahealthstrategies.com to return results. It does not read pages you visit, collect browsing history, or transmit anything else.

Data retention and deletion

Account and feedback data are retained while your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, contact us and we will remove it.
